Headteacher's Welcome

I wish you a very warm welcome to Hankham Primary School, where we work together to promote a creative learning community.

Hankham Primary School is a happy school situated in a delightful rural setting close to Eastbourne and Hailsham. The school caters for children aged 4 to 11 years of age and currently has 145 pupils on roll.  It opened in 1879 and throughout its long history, the school has preserved the best traditions of a small village primary school, whilst providing a carefully planned curriculum to prepare our children for active citizenship in the 21st Century.
